Junzhe Cao, M.ASCE, ENV SP is now a first-year Master student major in Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems at ETH Zurich, after graduating May 2024 with his Bachelors at UC Berkeley, major in Civil Engineering. Since his freshman year, he has worked as a student researcher at many of the labs under Institute of Transportation Studies at Berkeley. He also interned at JTL Lab at MIT since summer 2023. His research spans multiple fields in transportation, from economical and environment effects of Urban Air Mobility to consumer choice of new mode of travel, from public transportation to traffic flow in the city. Apart from being a member in ASCE, STCCA and COTA, he also served as President of the Institute of Transportation Engineers at Berkeley and one of the course facilitators of the Transportation Team at Berkeley. He is the recipient of ESOP scholarship in 2024.
