Bio: Masoud Reihanifar is currently a Research Scholar in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at University of California Berkeley, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mark Hansen. Also, he is a PhD Candidate in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Technical University of Catalonia, BarcelonaTech, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Francesc Robusté in Barcelona, Spain. His research interests are Airport Management System, Airport Terminal Design, Airport Supply & Demand Management, and Passenger Experience. He is a member of BIT, “Barcelona Innovative Transportation” Research Group since 2016; and he has collaborated with ALG Transport & Infrastructure for Smart Airport Operations, and ADELTE, for designing Innovative Passenger Boarding Bridges, as a BIT researcher. Masoud has experience of working in the construction of Metro Lines in Marmaray Project as a Project Manager in Istanbul, Turkey, by 2014; and also experience of working in EIFFAGE City Planning project of Orléans, during his Erasmus as Masters Degree student in Civil Engineering Department of École Polytechnique de l’Université d’Orléans, France, by 2013. In parallel to his PhD Research Plan on Smart Airports, Masoud has founded SmartKlap APP, as the world’s first simultaneous and identical cheering system for large audiences in stadiums to support their favorite sport club. San Pablo Burgos BasketBall Club in the Premier Basketball League of Spain was the first client of SmartKlap APP in 2019, and they achieved the Championship of The Basketball Champions League for European Clubs, organized by FIBA in 2019.
