Xin Peng

  • Bio: Xin Peng is a Ph.D. candidate in the Systems Engineering Program, Civil & Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley. Her research focuses on Urban Air Mobility vertiport network design and Autonomous UAV-based platform for the structural health inspection system. The former includes Integral Programming, Facility Location Problem, and microsimulation. The latter covers robot exploration, Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM), path planning, and path following. She also builds a virtual environment based on a gaming engine, Unreal Engine, for developing and validating the algorithms.
