- Bio: Yati Liu is a Ph.D. student in the Transportation Engineering program at UC Berkeley under the supervision of Professor Mark Hansen. She holds a M.S. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UC Berkeley. Her research interests lie broadly on sustainable aviation and emission modeling. Her current research project has focused on assessing the sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) options to meet the 2045 carbon neutrality target and examine key policy issues associated with California Aviation Decarbonization program. She draws from experience in working as a research assistant in transportation decarbonization for think tanks such as the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT).
